Mathematical Skills are established and strengthened by allowing children to predict,    execute and reflect.  Children gain mathematical knowledge by learning to:

• Develop an awareness of numbers as quantity
• Engage in simple mathematical operations
• Identify  patterns, relationships and classification depictions
• Develop an understanding of various measurement methods
